WOW! We had a very successful golf tournament on October 4th. Our previous money record was $28,000. This year we were just $400 short of that number in spite of being down 15 golfers. We have been informed that a couple of checks that we did not count on are on the way. We may very well break last year’s record. We will keep you posted. Many thanks to all who participated, whether in playing, donating money or donating prizes! We are so thrilled with the way this day turned out.
We had a very successful trip to DC the first week of March with meetings on Capitol Hill. The members of Congress are very positive about keeping the Debbie Smith Act funded to help with the rape kit backlog. Please send an e-mail to your members of Congress and ask them to support fully funding this important piece of legislation.
